How it works

Booking a photographer for a small wedding should be simple. Here is what happens from your first message to your finished gallery.

  1. Send me your date and where you’re getting married. I reply within 24 hours to let you know if I’m free.
  2. Secure your date with a 50% deposit.
  3. We plan the day together with a short call about timings and the photos that matter most to you.
  4. On the day I arrive before you do, stay quietly in the background during the ceremony and take you somewhere close by for portraits.
  5. Within 48 hours you receive a sneak peek and your photos with guests, followed by your full online gallery.

It’s only the two of us and two witnesses. Is a photographer worth it?

Yes. Your witnesses can enjoy the moment instead of filming it on their phones, and you get proper photos of the two of you that you’ll be glad to have in twenty years.

Can you take photos inside the register office?

Most register offices allow photography during the ceremony, but each has its own rules. I always check with the registrar before your day so there are no surprises.

Do you photograph weekday weddings?

Absolutely. Many small ceremonies happen on weekday mornings and I’m happy to work around your booking time.

What if it rains?

We’ll use covered spots near the venue, and a few umbrellas often make for the most fun photos of the day.

When will we get our photos?

A sneak peek and your photos with guests arrive within 48 hours of your wedding, followed by your full online gallery.
